Rental Terms
By placing an order with Rentiate, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms may be updated or modified by Rentiate at any time without notice.
1. Key Terms
- “Damages” (pertaining to a Dress) refers to the actual expenditure for repairs, replacement, or other charges incurred due to any incident. - “Rentiate” is Rentiate Solutions FZ-LLC. - “Dress” includes designer dresses and apparel offered for rental. - “Rental Period” is the period from the requested delivery date to the actual return date. - “Renter” refers to individuals renting the Dresses. - “Authorized Representative” is the designated person to receive the order in the absence of the Renter. - “Total Loss” occurs when repair costs make the Dress uneconomical or in cases of theft/loss, with the Total Loss amount equal to the security deposit, where security deposit is determined reasonably by Rentiate at the date of Rental - “Wearer” is a person authorized by Rentiate to wear the Dress and intimated in advance by the Renter to Rentiate.
2. Renting of the Dresses
Rentiate grants the Renter the right to rent up to four Dresses, bound by stringent terms and conditions herein and upon sole discretion of Rentiate. Renter is fully responsible for compliance, even if not the Wearer; and, shall ensure compliance hereof by the Wearer. Rentiate reserves the right to refuse service to any individual without providing a reason or to increase/decrease the number of Dresses. The Renter understands that it is strictly a rental arrangement; and, the Renter does not acquire ownership rights to the rented Dresses. The Renter can book a Dress in advance up to a maximum of 45 days prior to the Rental Period. The maximum Rental Period cannot exceed a total of 30 days.
3. Order Cancellations/ Rescheduling
Cancellation terms are: A) 100% refund if canceled at least 3 days before the delivery date. B) 100% refund if cancellation is done within 4 hours of ordering (for orders within 3 days of delivery). C) 0% refund in all other cases. For Instance, if an order is due for delivery on Sunday, the order can be cancelled for no extra cost until the end of day on Wednesday, i.e., three days immediately preceding the delivery day (Sunday). For rescheduling: •An item can be re-scheduled (subject to availability) for delivery at least 3 days before the delivery date at no extra cost. •Re-scheduling within 3 days of the delivery date but at least 2 days prior to delivery date is permitted subject to availability on the new requested delivery date. Such re-scheduling will incur a rescheduling fee of AED 200 for each re-scheduling request. •Re-scheduling 1 day before delivery date or same day as delivery date is not permitted. •Once the order is re-scheduled, it is eligible for cancellation at no cost only if the re-scheduling was done at least 3 days prior to the delivery date. In all other cases of re-scheduling, cancellation post re-scheduling will follow the terms 3A, 3B, and 3C as applicable. For Instance, if an order is due for delivery on Sunday, the order can be re-scheduled for no extra cost until the end of day on Wednesday, i.e., three days immediately preceding the delivery day (Sunday). For the same case, Re-scheduling will entail a rescheduling fee of AED 200 per request if the request is made on Thursday or Friday. Re-scheduling is not allowed on Saturday or Sunday. Once an order is delivered, the order can only be cancelled/ rescheduled within the same day of delivery with a valid justification with validity of the justification being sole decision of Rentiate.
4. Back-up Size and Style Try-on
The Back-up size feature allows the Renter to order an extra size for the Dress (subject to availability). In such a case, both the main Dress (“main item”)as well as an extra size of the Dress (“back-up size item”) will be retained by the Renter for the Rental Period and returned together once the Rental Period is over. The Renter guarantees that the Renter will only use one of the items which fits best, and the other will be stored safely in the original packaging without any usage. For such cases, Rentiate will reserve separate deposits for both, the main item as well as the back-up size item as applicable for the Rental Period of the rental. The deposits will be eligible for release once the main item as well as the back-up size item are received back by Rentiate. The rental fees will be only charged for one of the items – either the main item or the back-up size item as confirmed by the Renter. If the Renter chooses to return the back-up size item within 20 minutes upon delivery person arriving for delivery and hands it back to the delivery person, the deposit amount will only be charged for the main item. The Try-on feature allows the Renter to request a different style for trial purposes. Such trial will need to be done within 20 minutes upon the delivery person arriving for delivery and the style/s which is/ are not to be used by the Renter must be returned back to the delivery person in the original packaging and condition within 20 minutes from the delivery time. The try-on feature will entail a cost of AED 75 per order. For any order, the total maximum items including the back-up size items as well as the try-on style items cannot exceed a total of 3 items.
5. Delivery Terms
Rentiate delivers Dresses by the requested date, but Renter acknowledges that delays may occur. In the instances of non-delivery by the requested date which is not on account of force majeure, the Renter shall be entitled to 100% refund. Deliveries shall not be made to PO Boxes, alternative addresses or in the absence of the Renter or Authorized Person, unless specifically requested by the Renter for instance, leaving at the door of the address of the delivery. Transfer of risk in the Dress shall vest with the Renter upon completion of the Delivery; and, shall be responsible for safety and condition of the Dress until the safe receipt of the Dress by Rentiate.
6. Usage Terms
Dress use is exclusively granted to the Renter or authorized Wearer during the Rental Period or any extensions approved by Rentiate. Rentiate and/or its designer partner(s) unequivocally retain ownership. Dress may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any alteration requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to Rentiate's approval, which may be denied without explanation.
7. Return Terms
Dress return is to occur precisely at the original location of delivery and in the packaging provided by Rentiate. Late returns incur penalty of 50% of the Security Deposit for each day of delay. Renter must notify Rentiate well in advance in case of any delays or inability to return on time. The Renter may only use Rentiate's packaging for returns, and any deviation is at Rentiate's discretion. The Dress shall be returned to Rentiate in the same condition as received, that being undamaged and in good condition, ordinary wear and tear excepted. Rentiate’s decision shall be final and binding.
8. Termination/Extension; Purchase Option
Rentiate holds the unilateral right to terminate at any time, and the Renter can extend the Rental Period with Rentiate's approval. Purchase options may be selectively offered. Renter must submit a written request 24 hours before the termination date if intending to extend the Rental Period. Rentiate may offer a purchase option for a Dress during the Rental Period, with pricing determined solely by Rentiate.
9. Wearing
Only the Wearer designated by Rentiate can wear the Dress. The Renter is held fully liable for all obligations. Renter's submission of inaccurate information may lead to immediate termination without recourse. Information about styling options and accessories may be selectively provided by Rentiate.
10. Fees
Renter is obligated to pay rental rates, charges, and fees until Dress return. Additional costs for delays, Damages, Total Loss and collections shall be payable, as the case maybe. Rental rates are subject to frequent updates, with notice provided at Rentiate's discretion. Discounts, promotions, and loyalty programs are at Rentiate's discretion, and no guarantees are provided. Any costs incurred by Rentiate to retrieve the Dress will be on the account of the Renter.
11. Payment
Payments can be made only via credit card/ debit card or a credit account with Rentiate. Rentiate will bear expenses up to 15% of the rental cost only in case of repairs associated with normal wear and tear or minor repairs that can be done within 15% of the rental cost. In cases where the cost of repair is exceeding 15% of the rental cost, the costs exceeding the 15% of rental amount will be borne by the Renter. Rentiate's discretion in deciding the repairing cost and procedures is absolute. By placing an order, the Renter authorizes Rentiate to charge or authorize the provided credit card or debit card for the rental charges, delays, damages, total loss, penalties, fees, expenses, legal costs, and collection costs. Rentiate will make reasonable efforts to notify the Renter in advance of any charges or authorizations made to the credit card or debit card. In the absence of prior notification, the Renter agrees that Rentiate may charge the credit card or debit card for authorized amounts without further consent.
12. Renter’s Liability

13. Dress Incidents
The Renter must safeguard Rentiate's interest in case of incidents, damage, theft, or loss, promptly notifying Rentiate. The Renter must provide full cooperation in any investigation or legal proceedings related to incidents involving the Dress. Incident reports and photo documentation, if provided by Rentiate, are considered accurate and binding.
14. Limitation of Liability
Rentiate and its affiliates are categorically absolved of any liability for losses arising from Dress rental. The Renter comprehensively indemnifies Rentiate against any and all claims, costs, liabilities, actions, proceedings and expenses. Indemnity extends to all legal costs incurred by Rentiate for any disputes arising from the Renter's actions. Rentiate's discretion in providing indemnification details and procedures is absolute.
15. General
This document constitutes the entirety of the agreement, and no deviations will be entertained. Rentiate reserves the unilateral right to amend the terms hereof, with or without notice to the Renter, and continued use of the service constitutes unconditional acceptance of the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of DIFC; and, are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of DIFC Courts.
